About our Charity Partner
Dashing Whippets Track Meet proceeds benefit the EVLovesNYC , a 501(c)(3) nonprofit mutual aid, provides food and services to economically insecure New Yorkers. EVLovesNYC started cooking in 2020 in response to growing food insecurity in New York City. Powered by a dedicated volunteer corps, their kitchen has cooked more than 630,000 delicious and nutrient-rich meals for distribution throughout the city’s most underserved neighborhoods. EVLovesNYC’s mission expanded in 2022 with the influx of migrants to NYC. They now provide support for our city’s newest neighbors, with food, job training, advocacy, and referrals to other agencies.
