The Dashing Whippets Running Team (DWRT) is proud to congratulate Jessica Chichester for qualifying for the U.S. Olympic Team Marathon Trials with a 2:42:16 at the Toronto Marathon. Jessica has been a Dashing Whippet member since 2013. She held the previous team marathon record of 2:45:43, which she achieved in the 2018 Boston Marathon. She finished fifth overall in that race.
Jessica ran cross country and track at the State University of New York at Albany in the mid-2000s and is a full time nurse practitioner. The team looks forward to supporting Jessica in February 2020 in Atlanta!
