Body Balance Integrated Sports Massage Therapy

Owned by Nicole Kennelly, LMT, Body Balance NYC specializes in sports/medical massage, manual therapy treatments and integrated manual and movement sessions.  While relaxation massage can certainly be helpful, we do not provide Swedish or relaxation massage:

Your treatment will not be just a typical, general full body massage!  Our team of sports LMTs are trained in providing treatments customized to each individual.  This ensures you will receive the highest level of care and proper treatment and education about whatever it is you are coming in for.

See our Meetup page for special promotions for the Dashing Whippets — including a special introductory rate for a first visit, and a very special rate on a package of three sports massages (the offer is good through September 30, so act quickly).

Our specialty is sports and medical massage and manual therapy.   We use techniques such as orthopedic massage, trigger point therapy and neuromuscular therapy to deliver a result oriented treatment.

After an assessment and manual therapy treatment, there may be corrective exercise or self massage techniques that will help prolong the effects of your treatment.   We are honored to be part of your wellness team and we want you to be an active participant so optimal results can be achieved!    We provide:  Functional Assessment, Muscle Activation, Soft Tissue Release, and  Corrective Exercise.  Our treatments include:

  • Headaches – TMJ – Jaw/Facial Pain

  • Runners Knee – ITB/Hamstring Strain
  • Piriformis Syndrome – Sciatica
