Everyone, tonight's training run is cancelled because of steady rain.

Normally we don't let a little wet weather bother us, so in the future we may still work out when it's raining. Tonight's cancellation is based on a combination of low temps, the fact that the forecast calls for steady rain rather than intermittent showers, and the alternate plans of some runners to attend the NYC Marathon Expo.

Also, a bunch of Whippets are planning on hitting the Marathon Expo tonight. It's at Jacob Javits Convention Center (11th Avenue at 35th Street, Manhattan), and the marathon store and many other activities are open to everyone, regardless of whether or not you're running NYC this weekend.

You can meet other Whippets tonight starting at 6:30 or so. There's no set meeting place because people will be arriving at various times, but if you go to the Marathon Store, there's a good chance you'll run into at least one teammate.
