This will be my 3rd year running it. The fee is only $25 (for both the full & half) by 5/13!
You need to register by mailing in the application though. Download and print it from the above link.
Yonkers is only 25 mins by train from Grand Central Terminal (42nd St).
For less than $1/mile, this is a great deal.
The race is hilly (two loops), but is great training for NY. Plenty of my friends have run this as a warm up to NY C, and it paid off by them PR'ing NYC two months later. The strategy is to treat Yonkers as a long run b/c there's no way you'll PR it.

Thanks again Kino for letting us know about this race; I just dropped off my app for the full marathon to the post office; it is still technically $25 until tomorrow (May 14) since I called the guy listed in the contact info (Steve) and he said they would still accept a postmark even though they would have preferred to have received by May 14. Seems to be a good alternative or add-on to the NYRR 18-miler that is on the same day ($19) and, reviews seem pretty positive, if you treat the race a certain way.
