Hey Whippets!

Tomorrow is our second team points race of the year. Currently, the Whippets stand in 6th place in the Men's Open B Team division (http://www.nyrr.org/r... ). Let's try to push ourselves up in the ranks! The weather will be 52°F and sunny at race time -- perfect weather to PR. Don't forget your Whippets jersey.

If you haven't picked up your bib yet, you can do so today at New York Road Runners (9 East 89th Street) from 1:00-7:00pm. Since it's finally Spring time, you can also conveniently pick up your bib at the check-in/registration tent near the start from 8:30-9:30am.

MTA service has been somewhat spotty these weekends, so please use HopStop to find your way to the race:

NOTE: Don't forget to update the Departure Time to Saturday morning.

As usual, we'll be meeting at 9:30am at baggage drop, 30 minutes before the race start of 10:00am (that's right, 10:00am!). Matt and I will lead a short jog to warm up and we'll break into our pacing groups and head into our corrals.

After the race, we'll be cheering on other Whippets near the finish line so look out for us there. Since the group has gotten so large and the weather will be so nice, instead of heading to brunch, we'll be having a picnic at Sheep's Meadow (thanks to Sylvain for this idea!).
