I am extremely happy about how well everybody did in today's half marathon. We had 21 Whippets run this race. Weather conditions were perfect for PR'ing (37°F and no rain) and it certainly showed with the results! I believe everybody PR'd in this one. I'm excited for all our future events and how the racing year will turn out. Great job everyone!

Here are the results:

  • Benny finished in 1:32:17 (7:02mm pace, 487th place out of 5441 total).
  • Jeff finished in 1:34:00 (7:10mm pace, 578th place).
  • Yosuke finished in 1:36:41 (7:22mm pace, 779th place).
  • Rich finished in 1:36:52 (7:23mm pace, 801st place).
  • Patrick finished in 1:37:50 (7:28mm pace, 874th place).
  • Sylvain finished in 1:38:58 (7:33mm pace, 988th place).
  • Paul finished in 1:39:17 (7:34mm pace, 1012nd place).
  • Gary finished in 1:39:50 (7:37mm pace, 1059th place).
  • Kurt finished in 1:42:44 (7:50mm place, 1332nd place).
  • Scott finished in 1:43:05 (7:52mm pace, 1361st place).
  • Gaurav finished in 1:43:21 (7:53mm pace, 1398th place).
  • Terry finished in 1:44:31 (7:58mm pace, 1524th place).
  • Iman finished in 1:48:00 (8:14mm pace, 1879th place).
  • Takashi finished in 1:52:17 (unofficial time).
  • Pam finished in 1:55:29 (8:48mm pace, 2810th place).
  • Mike finished in 1:55:33 (8:49mm pace, 2821st place).
  • Dave finished in 1:58:42 (9:03mm pace, 3221st place).
  • Jess finished in 1:59:26 (9:07mm pace, 3285th place).
  • Karmin finished in 2:16:40 (10:25mm pace, 4665th place).
  • Melida finished in 2:23:04 (10:55mm pace, 4940th place).
  • Amy finished in 2:24:44 (11:02mm pace, 5006th place).

Fabulous times! Lots of PRs, at least when looking at NYRR's race history of people who have run at least one half before this weekend -- Benny, Yosuke, Rich, Sylvain, Paul, Gary, Kurt, Scott, Gaurav, Takashi, Pamella, Mike, Jessica, Amy. Who else?
