Is anyone else running in the NJ Marathon on May 6th ? Or is it just me ? Curious if so because as usual they have some training runs coming up to preview the course and I didn't know if anyone else planned on making down the shore for these ?

I think Brandon Choi and John Lenahan were considering this one Keith. Initially, I had been hoping to run the Ocean Drive Marathon in March but inconsistent training and a lack of sufficient mileage this Winter has put the kibosh on that plan. As an alternative, I'd like to run the Long Branch Marathon in May. But depending on how the training goes over the next couple of months, I will hold off on making any final decision about the race until late March or early April. |

I'm running and I know at least one more that should be running.
Not sure if anyone else saw this, but if you need to do a Half Marathon race during your training you might want to run the NY 13.1 Half Marathon to complete the NY/NJ Challenge. http://www.njmarathon...  I just noticed this yesterday and had already registered for another Half Marathon so I won't make it, but thought you all might be interested. Sorry it's late notice. |

I did it couple times in the past but I didn't do it last year. I did Long Island Marathon last year instead. The course was flat, seriously flat! However, they have a new course this year! They are changing the two loop course to one loop, and the start is totally different. Anthony, if you are look to PR, you should sign up for Mohawk Hudson River Marathon, this is one of the fastest course rated by Runner's World Magazine!
