I totally understand that this is something that has to be put into place - members' safety is paramount. Just sad that our little group is having to out-grow the age of innocence, I guess.

Hey all,
Like I said, I totally understand the worries. I just want to make sure you all know - this is meant to protect members from any sort of harassment and is meant to provide a way to deal with any potential issues. It's not meant to scare anyone or make people feel uncomfortable, but meant to do the opposite of that. Thanks for voicing your concerns so we know that those feelings were out there. |

Hey guys just so you know these are pretty common, as when I was racing for a Sponsored Bike Racing team I had code of conduct I had to sign and acknowledge. 2 years ago we had to remove a married team member who had an affair with another team member and endangered the team as his wife went a little off the deep end and really scared us on a training ride by pointing her car towards us. Needless to say both team members were removed....
This is needed with any team just to set ground rules.... |
