Hey all,

Just posted a link for dues of $20 a year. You can find the link on the left site of the site or here (http://www.dashingwhi... ).  Dues will help us potentially pay for things such as the following:

• Continuing membership with RRCA so we can maintain status as a 501(c)3
  
• Insurance for incidences at team training runs and events
  
• Benefits such as invitation to members-only events and talks and special discounts
  
• Deposits on things such as end of the year events/parties/vans for long relay races
  
• Purchasing a surplus of uniforms to reduce the wait time for new members
  
• Organizing an official Whippet road race or track meet
  
• etc.
  

If you are a current member and have come to a few runs already, please pay by March 1st (if you pay before 3/1, your dues year will start on 3/1). If you are a new member or have yet to come to a run, you may come to a few events first so you can tell if it's a good fit (we will have a grace period of two months after join date for new members before requiring payment).

If you have any concerns paying your dues, please contact a captain (Rich, Megan, Patricia, Scott, Amy, or myself). Of course, all such conversations would be kept confidential!
