Born and raised in Argentina, I live in the Upper East Side and run mostly in the trails in Central Park. I have done NYCM and Boston and I am now venturing into trail/ultra marathons and into barefoot running.

Last marathon I did was in the mid 8s and all the other races I did in the last months were in the 7s...
My weekly average is ANYTHING between 20 and 40 miles. I usually do 2-3 runs in the trails during the week, 4 to 8 miles, and then a long run in the weekend if I am not racing.
I used to run all over NYC but after being injured I've switched to the trails and it seems to be working wonderfully. I am staying there!

I should say the same to you! Pleasure to meet you today - See you around.
You too!!!
And thanks for reminding me to update my profile!
Thanks, but even my "fast" lap was rather slow. Poor aching legs. With just 29 days until a marathon, I'd better get it in gear. (Maybe just 2nd gear. I don't want to get injured.)
But I miraculously feel better now. Maybe I'll go for a night jog.
See you around!
So, it was only after my nap today that I remembered, you were the one who posted on the discussion board about Proprioception and the coaching program certification. Nice to meet you at the Chris McDougall talk and thanks for the Proprioception DVD!
Thanks, I recognize you from the RW NYC forum, hope to see you at some training runs!
Thanks! Yeah, that's me! I thought about joining last year but I was dealing with too many injuries to make a commitment. With spring coming I'll be less of a hermit on the treadmill everyday and make it to some of the training runs.
Gracias Elizabeth. It was nice meeting you too.
Yes I'm not far from Dunellen as for trails around that area it's slim pickings, but however if you take the train and go 1 extra stop to South Bound Brook you have a rail 2 trail path that runs from New Brunswick to Trenton (it's called the D&R Canal Path). A couple towns over there are some pretty nice trails that are nice and runnable.
If you ever want to run in Jersey I do my long days on Sunday's and I typically do 7:45 ~ 8:00 pace... and I have some pretty good routes.
hey! I'm on 93 and 1st av... we should run sometime together and do brunch too!!
