I do the half marathons and marathon with the NYRR, and it's nice to know people
Slow. 12 minute miles, really. I'm just trying to stave off cardiovascular disease, I'm by no means fast.
It depends. I'm doing 3 mile runs during the week, and 6 on weekends, but I'm ramping that up for the Brooklyn Half. In July, I'm going to start doing 13 - 20 mile runs weekly in marathon training.
Brooklyn! Represent!
Fine meetup group.

Welcome Ion! Hope to see you at one our book club talks soon!
Hey Ion: Thanks. I actually just moved to Brooklyn Heights a couple weeks ago. I'm excited about the program and look forward to starting on the 28th.
Best,
Will
Hi Ion,
I just saw your message that you had sent a while ago. All I have at home are two 5lb Kettle bells. Don't use them much as I don't really know how to properly use them. I got them as a present.
Ion: Got this from McN-J. Not sure yet if this kicks in for June or when. ill keep you posted.
>>>Hi there,
>>>We'
ve recently put our downstairs fixtures on wheels and now hold our events where the book group used to meet. Would it be possible for your group to meet in the cafe? We almost always have an event scheduled downstairs, so meeting down there will be nearly impossible to schedule. Is there a set day the book group meets, and how many people attend?
Best,
Michele
My notes have it (as per Bobby) that we will be reading "Wuthering Heights"
hi Ion, I am sorry to be a "foozle" but i may not be able to attend tonight as i am in budget meetings. I read Dead Souls, LOVED it, hilarious points about how "worthy" the souls were related to price but an overall sad perspective on what level people would sink. If I can come it may be late-
Thanks man
Hi Ion,
I don't live in The Heights, but I am a former Brooklyn resident, and I still come to BKLYN at times
have kettleball classes for add people and help college kids and people unemployed just do what god intended for you to do without realizing it or not
Congratulations
on your NYC Marathon finish! I ran my first Marathon in Hartford last month and was a volunteer at the finish line on Sunday. I'm hoping to make the lottery next year.
