Newport Liberty Half-Marathon

Joana plans on running the Newport Liberty Half-Marathon in Jersey City on September 26, 2010. The race starts at 8:30 a.m. and is accessible via the PATH train.
According to the website, the course is a flat and fast and includes breathtaking views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the Verrazano Narrows Bridge and the Manhattan skyline .
Pre registration $27. (USATF $24.) until 9/20. Thereafter & on race day, $30.

Great idea! After a nice experience at yesterday's Bronx Half, I happened to be looking around for an upcoming half. We'll have to skip the Continental Fifth Ave Mile for this race though.
