We currently do workouts on the East River and meet at the track in East River Park east of the FDR at East 6th Street.
We will be doing the prescribed Thursday workout in the 10k program as seen here:
10k runners should select a program within the 10k program and marathoners should do the Intermediate Stamina program. The track is a great place to do a workout or to run a few easy miles so don't be intimidated (you don't have to do speedwork if you've never done it before).

This week, the beginner running schedule calls for a total of 3 to 4.5 miles with drills. Intermediate runners will do 400 meter repeats at half marathon, 10k, or speed pace. If you need help finding which pace you should do, please ask Scott or me!

Liz was snot able to find the cube-is anyone at the cube now?
Hi Scott and all, I am so sorry I was not at the cube when you were there. I got off the subway and went down E. 8th, which turned in St. Marks and couldn't find the cube. And then I called Jim because my phone was almost dead to see if he could find your cell phone number, and then he posted a message. I turned around and went back towards Astor Place, and found the cube, and that point it was 7:10 and at that my phone died, so I decided to head home because I didn't know the way to the park.

Hey, Liz, sorry we missed you! I also heard from Emily that the subway lines were a little out of wack, which made things even more complicated.
