For our Tuesday night training runs, we meet at 86th and Fifth Avenue. If you're in need of bag check, you can use NYRR for bag check (closes at 8:00pm) or NYSC (at 86th and Lexington) if you're a member.
We will wait 5 minutes for Whippets before we start our run. We split into groups of similar pace and run loops of the reservoir or of Central Park depending on the desired workout (we now have pace leaders - see the RSVP list to make sure a pacer of your pace is coming). After our run, we will perform stretches at Engineers' Gate (90th St and East Drive).
After we've burned those calories, we usually go out for dinner and drinks, so please join us for that if you can!
As a new runner.....which group should I begin with?
Hi Bella, if you come out tonight, we will have a few people at different paces you can run with so just let us know which group you would feel most comfortable being in and join them. We have different pacers for all of our training runs.
I am going to run with TNT, they are doing a killer hill work out.
