can't wait. last time i celebrated cinco de mayo, i bought 5 take5 lottery tickets and won a whopping $1.

Do you think we'll get a spot there? I imagine every mexican place will be packed that day. Maybe Emi and I should have our bday party there too. ;)

I called paquitos and they said that they do not take reservations for Cinco de mayo. At least we will be in a good area to head somewhere else if it's too packed. Can't wait for some patron shots!

If anyone is up for taking a half day/day off and starting early, saving some seats I am down.

apologies everyone!! New location!! Cosmic Cantina on 3rd ave between 12/13 East side of 3rd!! It's lively and fun. Paquitos would not accomadate us even after calling them and confirming everything-again, sorry!!

hey all, paquitos couldn't accomodate us so we've moved the party to cosmic cantina (101 3rd Ave (between 12th St & 13th St)). i'll see you guys at ~8:30pm!

A few more interesting details: we are in the back of the restaurant, where there's blaring Mexican music and a dazzling disco ball--and it's veggie Mexican. I know right!! But they are super friendly and they are giving away free stuff!! Things happen and we overcome them by staying positive! Happy cinco de mayo!!
