This has been pushed back an hour! Men are at 9 and women at 10!
I'll be celebrating my bday (Sept. 8th) at brunch....hope there will be brunch after the race! Oh, I wish I wish....I'm turning 25 again for the 3rd time! Forever 25 take two celebration for Anna is a 2-day event.
I would like to suggest post-race brunch at:
Spigolo
1561 2nd Ave (& E 81st St, NW corner)
212-744-1100

There is no official website.
Sonia, Steve (both new members), & I had brunch there last week and it was amazing! They have $1 quality oysters (Kumamoto and another tasty type from WA).
New member Jen Kim is the pastry chef there!
Update from Jen, regarding potential brunch at Spigolo:
"For brunch we will be able to accommodate 27 people inside and about the same outside. It might be hard to get everyone at one table but the restaurant is so small that it shouldn't be too bad if people sat at different tables anyways. "
Won't be joining for bruch, too far east, too much walking.
Have a blast!!
I think brunch at Spigolo is a great idea. I love that place!
Hey Hideki, thanks for the brunch recommendation! If the weather's nice enough, Scott, Matt and I were contemplating having a picnic after this race. Let's coordinate over e-mail so we can figure this out.
Hey all, make sure to register for this soon here:

This is the next points race and should be fast (it's only 4 miles and should be relatively cool weather compared to this summer)!
Hey everyone, I just posted a separate event for brunch so we can keep track who's coming out afterwards. You can RSVP here: http://www.dashingwhippets.org/calendar/14599752/![]()
Hope we can all celebrate the race together afterwards!
If any women would like to cheer on the men, I am planning to head down to the bottom of the W72nd street entrance (across from the lake) a little after 9AM.. Or let me know if people want to gather somewhere else!
Sounds good. Also, we should run a really good warm-up since 4 miles is a short race. Let's organize that too.
Definitely, I was thinking we could cheer for 30min or so then jog across the 72nd transfer and down around to the start.. Just want to be there in time.
Sounds like a great way to cheer AND warm up. I'm in!
I'm definitely in for cheering too. I may not be able to run the race because my knee hates me but I'm going to give it another trial run tonight at the training run. Either way I will be there Saturday, go whippets!
Wow, potentially up to 41 blue Whippets jerseys will be on the course. Just WOW!
Guys, should we do a group wave to cheer for the ladies again like we did for the last team points race?
Great idea denley. Depending on the number of guys we have, let's make two groups each doing the wave.

Way to go team! WOW, some really fast times.. and what a great turn out. Wish I could've been there to contribute too..
Congrats to everyone!
Thanks Tommy! Great weather to run a race this morning. For the first time, our top five men were under 6:00! I'll post results soon, I promise...
