Is anyone doing the four miler? Seems like most people are doing 15k...
For sure, Sylvain! Well, maybe not on my back, but alongside me would work. I'll be starting the 15k after having ran 7 miles though. Hope I can keep up the 7:15 pace! And I'll need to start in the 3rd corral, cause the bib I'm using is yellow.
Hey Ben
I was only kidding, the only way for me to go that fast would be to literally ride on your back but I'll understand if you don't feel comfortable with the idea.
Sorry, can't make it -- threw out my back and have trouble with the basics, never mind running a race. Hopefully get it all together for the upcoming points race.
Hey all, Joana and Tommy are both doing the 4 miler and will try to be at baggage 30 minutes before it starts if people want to meet them there and do a warmup! Also, Mark is planning on being at baggage 30 minutes before the 15k.
Hey Mike, sorry about your stuff at NYSC. FYI: I was told by NYRR staff via email and in person when I picked up my bib that you can run either race. Just show up at the designated time for the race you want. You can't run both or you'll be disqualified, so if you want to run the 15k you most certainly can. This applies to everyone running this race. If you want to double check this info, call NYRR.
Yes, I will be at baggage 30 minutes before the 4 miler starts if anyone wants to meet.
"Yay" I'm back to the Blue bib. The plan is that Ben doesn't catch up to me and if he does, well !! I'll just attach a tow rope and try to keep up.
I'm planning to meetup at baggage for the 4miler. See you guys tomorrow.
Looks like it'll be a brisk/cloudy 41 degrees at 10am and 43 degrees at 11 tomorrow. See you guys tomorrow!
Great Race. The cold and wind made it interesting. Congrats to all who ran. Thanks, Mark for hosting. Not only did he PR with a blazing 8:06 min/mi for the 15k but he got us a table at a great brunch place in no time flat. Way to go! Mark
doing biathlon that happens to be the same day... :(
