Boston Marathon 2010 registration just closed, but that doesn't mean we can still head up and watch this.
Josh BQ'd this year at the NYC Marathon and will be running this race. Congrats Josh!
I've recently become a big fan of going up to Boston for the weekend and watching this on Patriots Day (note: it's a Monday). I went in 2009 and it was a blast. Let's get a cheering group to cheer on Josh as he runs this race for the first time.
RSVP for this and say whether you'll be running or spectating it and we'll get a Whippets cheering section going. We'll figure out meeting spots and logistics later on when the race date arrives.

Hey all, my friend is having a post marathon party at the Black Rose at 160 State Street. I'll probably get there at 3-ish. Definitely come join. Also, I'll be watching at around mile 25.5!

Hey guys - For those who don't know I work at ESPN and one of my group's products is ESPNBoston.com. I suggested putting together a Boston marathon photo gallery and they love the idea provided I can get some good photos (outrageous costumes, etc). For you superfans, if you guys have any photos, can you email them to me at karen.p.lee@gmail.com or upload them where I can get them asap post marathon. It's just for fun but you'll get credited on ESPNBoston if we use your photo. Thanks!

Rich HEvent HostWhippet Organizer, Pacer (7:30-8), OrganizerFun weekend. Saw my family, ran the BAA 5k, and experienced the Boston Marathon firsthand. Great job to Josh again for completing the marathon despite his illness!
