Still at work, running late... don't wait on me but I will come down and if I can find you, great and if not, then oh well....
anyone picking up their number for the 10K today before the training run tonight? If so, can you pick mine up? my e-mail is jnovack11@yahoo.com. if that is something you would do, please e-mail me and let me know, thanks!
We're at 17 headcount again! Joanna can wear her lip gloss safely! Rich - I'll need to drop off my bag at your work!
Wow, East River on Thurs sounds great. I'm out of shape but will join you anyways... running slowly! Rich, I also plan to stop by your office around 6:30 to drop off a bag.
My bad rich. Got it. will see you guys on 86th and 5th ave today.
Satish -- this is the location for our Thursday runs: http://maps.google.com/maps/place?cid=1509677484798140239...
whats the cross street for today's run. 6th street and ?
I like the fact that we're all treating the LES like the ghetto.
I'll definitely go since we can run together to the track. I run really slow compared to you guys. You might leave me behind to fight the loiterers screaming "ay mami" I won't put any lip gloss that way noone will be tempted to harass me. Worse case scenario at least I know all of you can run for help.
Rich -- I'll be taking you up on your offer. I'll come to your office at 6:30ish.
Matt -- 3-4 x 800 sounds like a good pre-race workout to me.
You all can come over to my office at 632 Broadway (btw Houston and Bleecker) 10th Floor aka Meetup HQ to drop off your stuff if you'd like. You can drop off your bag, use the restroom, etc and we'll head out at 6:45pm sharp and jog over to the track which is 1.3mi away.
Haha, I think we are all faster than anyone that might steal our stuff. I think there will be enough runners around with other teams that run there that it's somewhat self-policing. We'll see how it goes the first week. Also, since Kleinerman is Sunday, we probably won't do anything too crazy Thursday. Maybe just 3-4 800 repeats?
Thanks Matt. If someone steals our stuff, you have to chase them down, since you're the fastest.
I actually assumed it wasn't that busy and would be ok leaving my bag there if it isn't rainy. We can leave it in the middle of the field as long as no soccer is going on and I'm pretty sure no one will take anything, especially if there are a lot of bags together.
Does anyone know how busy the track is this time of year? And I'm thinking the answer is 'no,' but is it safe to leave belongings/bags on the sidelines during the run?
Hi, Joanna -- I am going to see if I can meet Rich at his office at 6:45 and jog over from there. Or anyone can meet at 7 on the track itself, which you can get to by crossing the FDR Drive via the pedestrian bridge at 6th St.
I will go if we meet at a designated spot and run together. What's the dilio for this?
